Audi has allowed drivers to sync their phones to their vehicles for years. But every year, Audi gets more new drivers, and people want to know how they too can sync their phones. Because this is such a common question, we thought we take the time to explain how synching your phone works.

Synching Your Apple or Android Phone

To connect your Apple or Android device to your new Audi, the fastest way is using Bluetooth. By utilizing Bluetooth, drivers like yourself can easily sync their phones to the vehicle’s infotainment system.

Here are step-by-step instructions on synching your phone.

  1. Activate Bluetooth on your phone
  2. Turn your vehicle on, and put it in Park
  3. On the infotainment system, press Phone > Connect Mobile Device. The system will begin searching for your device
  4. Select your device from the touchscreen. A PIN will appear on the screen and your phone. Ensure the PIN matches on both devices
  5. Hit confirm on all messages that appear on your phone. For iPhones, a prompt will appear asking to enable Wireless Car Play. Do Not click Not Now as this will disable Bluetooth connection.
  6. Your mobile is now paired. When your Audi is on, your phone will automatically be connected to your car while Bluetooth is enabled
