Features of the New Audi Q5
The Q5 features adaptive cruise control and adaptive cruise assist as standard tech for the new model year. The traffic sign recognition system has also been expanded to enhance to increase its predictive ability.
There are also three available powertrains. The base setup is a 201-hp turbocharged four-cylinder, mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. The Premium trim uses the same setup but outputs 261-hp. And there’s a hybrid engine that builds on the standard engine with a 17.9-kWh battery and an electric motor. This combination produces 362 hp and 369 lb.-ft. And can travel an EPA-estimated 23 miles on all-electric power.
Part of the Q5’s appeal is its spacious and comfortable interior. Decent materials and a functional layout reflect the brand’s luxury aesthetic. As does its muted cabin and ample legroom. Along with great leg space, the Q5 has a good cargo room. With rear seats that easily fold in a 40/20/40 fashion, up to 18 cases can be held.
