Soon, Audi will begin production on a new SUV slated for release in 2025. Called the SQ6 e-tron, this EV will share the same platform as the Q6 and feature all-wheel drive. Information is currently limited, so keep reading to see what we know.

Highlights of the Audi SQ6 e-tron

The new Audi SQ6 e-tron will be a performance-driven model of the existing Q6 e-tron. As such, the SQ6 will outperform the Q6 e-tron with an estimated 482 horsepower. By engaging the boot function of the model, performance can be shortly enhanced to produce 509 hp.

Powering the SQ6 e-tron will be a PPE platform that has an 800-volt, 93.0-kWh (estimated) battery pack. Along with plenty of power, this setup will allow the SQ6 to charge rather quickly. Audi says the model can go from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes. This, however, is only achieved when at the max charge rate of 270 kW.

As for the model’s range, Audi has no official word on this. However, we expect the SQ6 e-tron to offer less range than the Q6. This is due to the model having more power. For reference, the current Q6 e-tron has an estimated range of around 340 miles.
