Audi is no stranger to making electric models. That's why they're releasing two new models to their lineup for the new model year. The Audi A6 and S6 e-tron Sportback. Offering high-performance electric powertrains with solid range and plenty of amenities, there's much to enjoy about these vehicles.
Performance
With a 100-kWh battery built on Volkswagen's Premium Platform, the new Audi A6 and S6 are fast vehicles. In the A6, the model can output 362 hp, while its Quattro-equipped sibling produces 422 hp. This results in the A6 reaching 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and 4.3 seconds, respectively. As for the S6, this model produces 496 hp. However, when launch control is enabled, the S6 can reach up to 543 hp.
Range and Charging
While the 100-kWh battery pack offers plenty of power to the A6 and S6, it also offers exceptional range. In RWD models, the A6 e-tron Sportback has a range of 466 miles. Though, with its emphasis on performance and power, the four-wheel drive S6 has a reduced range of 416 miles. Also, according to Audi, when at a DC-Fast Charger, both models can charge from 10 to 80% in 21 minutes.
Technology
As a luxury brand, Audi always puts its most advanced features into their models. The new A6 and S6 e-tron Sportbacks are no exception. Inside the new A6, Audi offers an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit, 14.5-inch touchscreen, and 10.9-inch front passenger display. Android Automotive is also standard. Soft wrap materials also adorn the cabin and a panoramic glass roof is offered for added light.
