10 years ago Audi released the Q7 SUV to great success. Now, in 2025, Audi is set to release its third-generation Q7, and we expect it to also be a hit. Although information about this upcoming model is still scarce, there are some details and speculations we'd like to share.
Exterior Update
While full details have not yet been revealed, the 2026 Q7 will have an updated exterior styling that differs greatly from current models. Expect a split headlight design with slim LED daytime running lights on top and the main headlamps just below that. And from what several spy photos have gleamed, the Q7 will also offer a large blacked-out grille with a mesh design.
Interior Upgrades
While just speculations, Audi's flagship SUV will undoubtedly feature the most advanced version of the MMI infotainment system. Expect a larger touchscreen interface, enhanced graphics, and intuitive controls. Premium materials like leather upholstery, open-pore wood trim, and aluminum accents will likely adorn the interior, providing an upscale ambiance for drivers and passengers alike.
Powertrain Enhancements
While reports are still coming in, it appears the 2026 Q7 will offer a new Premium Platform Combustion architecture. It is also speculated that this platform will also be available with several different powertrains. One possible powertrain is a hybridized 3.0-liter V6 with 362 hp and 406 lb.-ft of torque.
Release Date and Availability
While an official release date has not been announced, the redesigned 2026 Audi Q7 is expected to arrive at dealerships like Audi Eatontown in late 2025 or early 2026. Audi enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing the epitome of luxury, performance, and innovation as anticipation builds for this next-generation SUV.
